This is perhaps the second biggest shock to indian cricket this yr aftr the gr8 WC debacle..Rahul Dravid has although nt officially step down as Indian captain but dats fr sure tht he is steeping down...His decision cums jus days b4 the mighty australians tour india fr a seven match one-day series and also the all impt series with Pakistan at home and biggest daddy of all , the test series and one-day series in Aus...the reason fr his resignation as told by him is tht he wanted to concentrate more on his game...but the biggest question tht cums in front of the gr8 BCCI is "who next?" ..
Given tht sachin n saurav r too old fr d job...and reinstating ganguly as d captain wudn`t b a wise decision for future indian cricket....that leaves wid only two options...Yuvraj and Dhoni....between the two Dhoni will b d obvious choice bcoz Yui has still nt cemented his aplce in the test side...but the question is tht will Dhoni b able to do it,,,well v hafta wait n see....

Imagine havin dreams in black n white mode! how borin...thr wud not b anythin dreamy abt them anymore thn rt? Colors hav beautified d way v luk at things...d way v react 2 them..influenced not jus our opinions abt thm but sumwhr down d line even made us even slightly biased towards sum of thm..cmon guys..b honest n answer dis..how many times hav v stuck 2 puttin on d same shirt on at every occassion cos its ur lucky color?

The decision that might has raised eyebrows amog the cricket fraterniy, BCCI offered pace spearhead Zaheer Khan a Grade C contract even as the struggling Irfan Pathan was put in Grade B. Newly appointed ODI vice-captain M S Dhoni and Yuvraj Singh have been promoted from Grade B to Grade A—even though Yuvraj is yet to cement a Test spot and Dhoni hasn’t fared too well outside the sub-continent. But the biggest surprise was clearly the poor grade offered to Zaheer, who has bowled consistently well in the last few months.
Virender Sehwag, Pathan and Harbhajan Singh have been downgraded from Grade A to Grade B in the new player contracts list. In all, 17 players have been offered annual retainer contracts based on performance during the last season. These contracts, effective October 1, 2006, will run till September 30, 2007.
SWINGS OF FORTUNE
Grade A (Rs 50 lakh/yr plus match fee): Dravid, Tendulkar, Ganguly, Anil Kumble, Yuvraj Singh, M S Dhoni
Grade B (Rs 35 lakh/yr plus match fee): Laxman, Harbhajan, Virender Sehwag, Irfan Pathan, Ajit Agarkar
Grade C (Rs 20 lakh/yr plus match fee): Gambhir, Jaffer, Sreesanth, Zaheer, Suresh Raina, Munaf Patel All’s not lost for Dinesh Karthik
Perhaps the biggest blunder was dat wicket-keeper Dinesh Karthik, who has not been offered a contract along with Ramesh Powar and Ishant Sharma among others, will not be left out entirely. Any player who plays a minimum of 5 Tests or 15 ODIs during a season automatically qualifies for Grade C contract.
Virender Sehwag, Irfan Pathan and Harbhajan Singh— all of whom do not find a place in the current team to tour Ireland, Scotland and England — will now be in Grade B, a demotion from last season’s. The trio finds a place in the list because they played a key role in India’s record streak in ODIs as well as the Test series win in West Indies in June 2006.
VVS Laxman too has been demoted to Grade B. Laxman is now considered only a Test specialist and no longer finds a place in the ODI squad.
The two players to miss out from last season’s contracts are Mohd Kaif and left-arm spinner Murali Kartik. While Kaif was in Grade B, Kartik was in Grade C. Kaif struggled for form and Kartik battled injury most of last season and have, therefore, been left out. The announcement of the new contracts has been delayed by nearly nine months as the Board and senior players had some differences.

Mukesh Ambani`s new house

Mukesh Ambani's new house-in-the-making at Altamount Road, but even as work on its construction goes on in full swing, The Reliance Industries Ltd chairman purchased the 4,532 sq mt plot in 2002.

The plan, drawn up by the firm Perkins+Will, reveals that the house will resemble a virtual glass palace, with entertainment centres, a health club, a swimming pool and various green spots thrown in for good measure.

C onstruction of Mukesh Ambani’s new house at Altamount Road, where real estate prices are now in the region of Rs 75,000 per sq ft, began in late 2006, and the first six floors are already in place now. The building is expected to be complete in September 2008.

27 FLOORS
According to the plan, the house will rise to a height of 173.12 meters, equivalent to that of a regular 60-storeyed residential building. However, Antilia will have only 27 storeys in all, which means each floor will have a ceiling considerably higher than the current average of nearly three meters.

Six floors for parking
The first six floors — which have come up — will be reserved for parking alone, and that too for cars belonging only to Mukesh's family. Space for a total of 168 'imported' cars has been earmarked here.

Floor for car maintenance
Sources said the Ambanis would prefer to have all their cars serviced and maintained at an in-house service centre. This centre will be set up on the seventh floor.

Entertainment floor
The eighth floor will have an entertainment centre comprising a mini-theatre with a seating capacity of 50.

Balconies with gardens
The rooftop of the mini-theatre will serve as a garden, and immediately above that, three more balconies with terrace gardens will be independent floors.

The 'health' floors
While the ninth floor will a 'refuge' floor — meant to be used for rescue in emergencies — two floors above that will be set aside for 'health.' One of these will have facilities for athletics and a swimming pool, while the other will have a health club complete with the latest gym equipment.

For guests
There will be a two-storeyed glass-fronted apartment for the Ambani family's guests above the health floors. One more refuge floor and one floor for mechanical works will be built on top of these apartments.

Family
The four floors at the top, that will provide a view of the Arabian Sea and a superb view of the city's skyline, will be for Mukesh, his wife Neeta, their three children and Mukesh's mother Kokilaben.

Air space floor
According to the plan, two floors above the family's residence will be set aside as maintenance areas, and on top of that will be an "air space floor," which will act as a control room for helicopters landing on the helipad above.

Helipad
The plan states that three helipads are to be built on the terrace.

However, Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation officials told this paper that permission for the helipads has not been granted yet.

"The residential plans were approved three-four years ago. Two levels of basement have also been shown in the proposed project," Sudhir Shinde, deputy engineer at the BMC's building proposals department said.

Staff
Nearly 600 staffers are expected to work full-time in the building, sources said.

Total stats
According to BMC records, the total area of Mukesh's Altamount Road plot is 4,532.39 square meters. The proposed built-up area is 4,778.09 square meters (only for residential purposes), and the permissible built-up area 4,939.81 square meters.

India it appears still hasn’t grown out of its colonial hangover. Chennai's prestigious cricket club is in the middle of a controversy for disallowing a civil servant entry because he was clad in a veshti - the traditional Tamil attire.But the club maintains its only maintaining its time-honoured tradition by imposing the dress code.Could you imagine Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Karunanidhi in anything else but a dhoti. Well he might have to wear trousers if he's to enter the Tamil Nadu cricket association's club.Atleast that's what A Narayanan figured out. The Congressman and advisor to the Union Ministry of Panchayati Raj was denied entry into the club for a lecture all because he came in Tamil Nadu's most traditional attire.Narayanan says, "It's an insult to an Indian traditional dress. They have not insulted Narayanan. They have insulted a representative of the union ministry."Furious with the club's decade's old tradition Narayanan's shot off a letter to the Chief Minister and is now launching a signature campaign against the TNCA club.Several other big clubs in the city too have strong rules on dress code and Narayana's out to fight for the dhoti to be part of that code."This clubs is located in the Chief Minister's constituency and it's sad that it can happen here in the Capital of Tamils, " Narayanan adds.While the TNCA club authorities did not comment on record they did admit that in the past even ministers have been asked to shed their dhoti and wear trousers before the entering the club.But Narayanan says the question now is whether a club's tradition can be more powerful than Tamil Nadu's tradition.

The art of telling fibs is alive and well and Nottingham unveils the biggest liar in the world.

Plenty of tall tales have been told at Nottingham’s Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem pub over the centuries. In 2004 it's become the venue for a fresh bunch of dirty liars. And no, it wasn’t a group of lads on the pull – nine of Nottinghamshire’s finest storytellers were battling it out for the dubious title of ‘World’s Greatest Liar.’

The event was organised by 55-year-old Pete Davis, better known as Pete the Fireman (because he is a fireman – and that’s the truth.) Pete runs the Storytellers of Nottingham, a club that meets in Ye Olde Trip every month to lie to each other (or tell stories, as they like to put it).

So, as the organiser – did you expect to win?
"No I didn’t! I’ve been storytelling for eight years…it’s a strange thing to want to be called the world’s greatest liar. Bill Kirkham, whose won the competition for the last three years, he’s an ex-Chief Superintendent of Police. Worrying, isn’t it?"

What does your wife think of your talent for lying?
"She’s my wife. She’s used to it!"

And what do your colleagues in the Fire Brigade think of your storytelling?
"They thought it was silly at first, but now they’re quite taken with it. They really think it’s fantastic. They are incredible storytellers, firemen."

Given that you are now the World’s Greatest Liar, any advice for our politicians?
"Basically, pack it in. Unless you’re doing it for fun. You’re upsetting lot of people by lying, so behave. Tony Blair wouldn’t know the truth if it bit him in the arse! Tell the truth – save the lies for our competition next year."

Can you give us an example of how you use your talent in everyday life?
"At work we get people from the Nottingham Evening Post ringing us for stories and one morning I told a guy a meteor had hit the jewel tower. I said we’d found the meteorite while we were drilling. He asked how I knew it was a meteorite, I said, ‘I’m a trained geologist… It’s really rare.’ He asked if he could come to the station and take a picture, so I told him to come back at 9, when the station officer was in. That was when we went off duty. But he phoned at quarter to nine and the station manager tannoys over, he says, ‘Blue Watch – which whatsit told the Post about the meteorite?’ That was a true one. Well, a true cheat anyway."

With Christmas coming up, what do you make of the whole Father Christmas myth?
"I like it. I’m a grandfather – it’s nice for the kiddies. It’s not a Christian thing, is it, Father Christmas? I’m a pagan anyway, but I’ll celebrate anything that involves eating pies and boozing!"

A dalit ki beti has become Uttar Pradesh ki rani: Mayawati has created a historic win in Uttar Pradesh. "Caste" and "religion" are the dominant words used to describe UP's politics. But instead, as any reporter on the UP trail will tell you, UP's politics is also about another word. In addition to caste and religion, the other word is "opportunity."

In the absence of a business sector, a vibrant intelligentsia or a society where talent is recognized, politics is the only status-provider in UP. Politics is played for basic livelihood, upward mobility and good salaries. How to become the village daroga? How to get a son into government school? How to arrange a suitable match for a daughter. Politics provides the linkages that oil one's daily existence. Thus, politics is to UP what the private sector is to other states. Politics is Uttar Pradesh's largest industry, it is the state's corporate sector, and it is a key avenue of employment. Because politics is the private sector, "opportunity" becomes the key determinant of political behaviour.

A state without an Infosys or a Wipro, with an industrial growth rate at a dismal 4 per cent, it is the Bahujan Samaj Party Pvt Ltd, the Samajwadi Party Pvt Ltd and the Bharatiya Janata Party Pvt Limited that are the aspiration of millions. Whoever forms the next government in UP, will thus be driven by the desire to raise the profitability of the company, attract new shareholders and pursue as many joint ventures as possible. Its not fair to judge the politics of UP by how far it conforms to standards of public life. In fact, party behaviour should be judged by but how far political parties serve their stakeholders and how far they are able to remain successful brand names.

Mayawati's bold gambit of transforming the Bahujan Samaj Party from the party of dalits to the `sarvajan samaj' or `samta muluk samaj,' is the biggest story of the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections of 2007. The BSP, once the hater of all suvarna castes, is now open and welcoming of not only Brahmins, but also thakurs, rajputs and banias. What does such a transformation imply? Such a transformation implies great opportunities. Today, in the BSP, there are party tickets on offer (for a cash transfer of course), ministerial berths on offer, Rajya Sabha seats on offer and the additional benefit of a vast loyal vote bank which will faithfully ensure that the company never goes under. The Bahujan Samaj Party in UP is a newly opened company, with plenty of jobs available. Only the post of CEO is taken, the other second rung posts are all empty and up for grabs. So, if you are educated and upper caste then the BSP offers a rewarding career. After all, Mayawati badly requires educated people to run her ministries and once (and if) the BSP acquires the Lucknow gaddi, educated BSP members will be a valued asset.

Satish Chandra Misra, the dalit party's new Brahmin face, and arguably the Number 2 in the BSP, is perhaps the latest political entrepreneur in UP. Till a few years ago, Misra was a senior lawyer with political ambitions. Had he joined the Congress, he might have been waiting in a long queue for a darshan of Rahul Gandhi. In the BJP, he would have been marginal to the existing party hierarachy. In the BSP, on the other hand, he has within the space of two years become the party's key strategist, even being given his own helicopter to campaign, a privilege reserved until now for the party's supreme leader. The entire Brahmin alliance strategy was and is Misra's brainchild, he came up with it, just as a far sighted new managing director might come up with a new business strategy. As long as a party continues to provide opportunities for all, it will keep growing. Hardcore loyalists might crib about ideological dilution, but a growing business offers its own rewards.

Today a dalit youth can get a job with the Bahujan Vounteer Force, or the BSP's private law enforcement security agency, and even carry the parallel rank of an SP or a DCP. Becoming a karyakarta with the BSP means a fixed responsibility, membership of an "organization", maybe a stipend, hours of work, and a source of insurance during trouble. Why then should a young man not choose this career? Raju Pal, the assassinated BSP MLA from Allahabad West was a Samajwadi Party loyalist and only defected to the BSP when he failed to get a ticket. Its a story replicated thousand fold across UP. Most legislators change their parties at least twice, if not thrice in the quest of a ticket. No ideology or belief systems or loyalty to a leader ties them to a party. What motivates them is purely the calculation of future opportunity.

The Ram Janmabhoomi movement of the BJP of the late eighties and early nineties attracted UP's youth. The footsoldiers of the Ram janmabhoomi movement were not the Brahmin ideologues of hindutva, but the backward caste armies mustered by Vinay katiyar and kalyan Singh, the OBC leaders of the BJP. Ram Mandir may not have been the final destination of the caste armies. Ram Mandir was simply a symbol of future careers. This is seen in the fact that the BJP which reached the very peak of its organization in the early 90s, collapsed very quickly afterwards. The party of opportunity rapidly became a failed business once it began to weaken in the face of competition. The competition for political opportunity, came from the lower caste Samajwadi Party and the Bahujan Samaj Party. With the rise of the SP and the BSP, the BJP cadres drained away to the "companies" offering even better futures.

Opportunity is in woefully short supply in UP. Aside from the narrow strip of Western UP, industry has yet to be born in the rest of the state. Despite being a VIP constituency, Amethi is in ruins. Malvika Stainless Steel, Amethi's only sizeable manufacturing plant, no longer functions there. Samrat Cycles has shut down. Vast numbers across UP are unemployed. UP has the lowest labour costs in India and is the largest source of foodgrain, but in eastern UP for example, in the entire belt stretching between Allahabad and Varanasi down to Roberstgunj, every family contains at least two members who are migrants. They have fled to become taxi drivers in Mumbai or Kolkata. In Basti district, villagers journey to Gujarat for their daily bread. A large majority of those Muslim labourers who died in the Best Bakery fire during the Gujarat riots of 2002 were UP Muslims from a village called Bhaggowar in Basti, where the aunts and cousins of Zaheera Sheikh still live. In Lucknow, English language classes are mushrooming. At one of these classes, Seekers Assembly, students said they were keen to get out of Uttar Pradesh as fast as possible. To learn English is to gain an escape route and a chance at employment outside the state. Without English language, there is only the language of politics.

Those who expect a "political" outcome of the UP elections, in terms of ideology and party loyalty are thus invariably disappointed. What emerges on the other hand, is a "business" outcome, a final result where the opportunity levels within a party are displayed in public. The saying in UP is ,"ugta suraj ko sab salaam karte hai." Everyone from Brahmin to dalit always salutes the rising sun, and everyone also wants to join a new successful company.

a) Guided Media:

These are those that provide a conduit from one device to another that include twisted-pair, coaxial cable and fiber-optic cable. A signal traveling along any of these media is directed and is contained by the physical limits of the medium. Twisted-pair and coaxial cable use metallic that accept and transport signals in the form of electrical current. Optical fiber is a glass or plastic cable that accepts and transports signals in the form of light.

b) Unguided Media:

This is the wireless media that transport electromagnetic waves without using a physical conductor. Signals are broadcast either through air. This is done through radio communication, satellite communication and cellular telephony.

23. What is Project 802?

It is a project started by IEEE to set standards to enable intercommunication between equipment from a variety of manufacturers. It is a way for specifying functions of the physical layer, the data link layer and to some extent the network layer to allow for interconnectivity of major LAN protocols.

It consists of the following:

Ø 802.1 is an internetworking standard for compatibility of different LANs and MANs across protocols.

Ø 802.2 Logical link control (LLC) is the upper sublayer of the data link layer which is non-architecture-specific, that is remains the same for all IEEE-defined LANs.

Ø Media access control (MAC) is the lower sublayer of the data link layer that contains some distinct modules each carrying proprietary information specific to the LAN product being used. The modules are Ethernet LAN (802.3), Token ring LAN (802.4), Token bus LAN (802.5).

Ø 802.6 is distributed queue dual bus (DQDB) designed to be used in MANs.

24. What is Protocol Data Unit?

The data unit in the LLC level is called the protocol data unit (PDU). The PDU contains of four fields a destination service access point (DSAP), a source service access point (SSAP), a control field and an information field. DSAP, SSAP are addresses used by the LLC to identify the protocol stacks on the receiving and sending machines that are generating and using the data. The control field specifies whether the PDU frame is a information frame (I - frame) or a supervisory frame (S - frame) or a unnumbered frame (U - frame).

25. What are the different type of networking / internetworking devices?

Repeater:

Also called a regenerator, it is an electronic device that operates only at physical layer. It receives the signal in the network before it becomes weak, regenerates the original bit pattern and puts the refreshed copy back in to the link.

Bridges:

These operate both in the physical and data link layers of LANs of same type. They divide a larger network in to smaller segments. Born in St. Petersburg, Russia, on February 2, 1905, Ayn Rand taught herself to read at the age of six and two years later discovered her first fictional hero in a French magazine for children, thus capturing the heroic vision which sustained her throughout her life. At the age of nine she decided to make fiction writing her career. Thoroughly opposed to the mysticism and collectivism of Russian culture, she thought of herself as a European writer, especially after encountering Victor Hugo, the writer she most admired.
During her high school years, she was eyewitness to both the Kerensky Revolution, which she supported, and—in 1917—the Bolshevik Revolution, which she denounced from the outset. In order to escape the fighting, her family went to the Crimea, where she finished high school. The final Communist victory brought the confiscation of her father's pharmacy and periods of near-starvation. When introduced to American history in her last year of high school, she immediately took America as her model of what a nation of free men could be.
In late 1925 she obtained permission to leave Soviet Russia for a visit to relatives in the United States. Although she told Soviet authorities that her visit would be short, she was determined never to return to Russia. She arrived in New York City in February 1926. Criminal Politicians

An MP is caught tarfficking human beings. Well, I could not expect anything worse than this. I don't have the words to quantify the shame it brings for a democracy.

Should we think about who we elect and how our democracy works. I was not surprised when I found some months ago that a BBC report termed India as one of most flawn democracy. Ours is a real democartic country. Since the independence we never had a military goverment or dictatioship of any kind. We elected our own representative. Question is who we elected. For a long period after the independence politics was dominated by family and kinship succession. Our grand fathers elected the grand fathers of the person we elect today. The marked addition to this alreayd flawn system is the inclusion of criminals in politics. Not all poticians have criminal recored, neither all with criminal cases are criminals. However, a vast majority of them have indirect involvement in criminality like sheltering criminals, using criminal elements of our society for political aims.

It's at this link that we shoudl focus our attention. Why are criminals sheltered or patronized by political leader, what kind of poltical goal can be achieved with help of criminals? Answering this question would reveal that how voting behavior of ordinary people can be influence by the criminal elements. It is well the case in some very poor states in India. Other gain from politicians association with criminal elements is economic. The liberal and slow moving judiciary system has infact encouraged criminality in our country. It follows from the simple logic that gain from criminal activity is huge and chance of being caught and punished is low, even lower if the political shelter is avaiable. This is infact complete circle, politicians and criminals butressing each other.

Rajiv assassination mystery unsolved

India is considered to be a rising force in world affairs today - in terms of its economic and technological might - and one person who will be surely missed at this crucial juncture is late Indian Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi.

His vision to see India as a technologically-developed nation is taking shape in contemporary times. Rajiv was killed by a Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) human bomb at 10.18 pm (IST) on May 21, 1991 in Sriperembudur, Tamil Nadu. The blast killed 18 people, including nine policemen, and 33 others were injured.

But even after 16 years, the perpetrators of this heinous act have not been brought to book and there is no information about who all conspired to get Rajiv killed. On the contrary, the mystery surrounding his assassination has become more confusing.

The Congress Party, to which Rajiv belonged, is running the UPA government with the help of the same parties (DMK, PMK) that are considered as sympathisers of LTTE and are blamed for his assassination.

The interim report of Justice Milap Chand Jain, looking into the conspiracy angle to the assassination, indicted the DMK for colluding with the LTTE. The report concluded that DMK provided sanctuary to the LTTE, which made it easy for the rebels to assassinate Rajiv.

The Commission report stated that the year 1989 signified "the perpetuation of the general political trend of indulging the Tamil militants on Indian soil and tolerance of their wide-ranging criminal and anti-national activities."

The report also alleged that LTTE leaders in Jaffna were in possession of sensitive coded messages exchanged between the Union government and the state government of DMK.

"There is evidence to show that, during this period, some of the most vital wireless messages were passed between the LTTE operatives based in Tamil Nadu and Jaffna. These messages, which were decoded later, are directly related to the assassination of Rajiv Gandhi," the report stated.

The Congress subsequently brought down the United Front (UF) government of I K Gujral after the report was leaked in November 1998. The party also demanded the removal of DMK from the UF government, arguing that it had a hand in Rajiv's killing.

Another natural cause is that the earth goes through a cycle of climate change. This climate change usually lasts about 40,000 years.
There are many man-made causes. Pollution is one of the biggest man-made problems. Pollution comes in many shapes and sizes. Burning fossil fuels is one thing that causes pollution. Fossil fuels are fuels made of organic matter such as coal, or oil. When fossil fuels are burned they give off a green house gas called CO2. Also mining coal and oil allows methane to escape. Methane is naturally in the ground. When coal or oil is mined you have to dig up the earth a little. When you dig up the fossil fuels you dig up the methane as well.
Another major man-made cause of Global Warming is population. More people means more food, and more methods of transportation, right? That means more methane because there will be more burning of fossil fuels, and more agriculture. Now your probably thinking, "Wait a minute, you said agriculture is going to be damaged by Global Warming, but now you're saying agriculture is going to help cause Global Warming?" Well, have you ever been in a barn filled with animals and you smell something terrible? You're smelling methane. Another source of methane is manure. Because more food is needed we have to raise food. Animals like cows are a source of food which means more manure and methane. Another problem with the increasing population is transportation. More people means more cars, and more cars means more pollution. Also, many people have more than one car.Since CO2 contributes to global warming, the increase in population makes the problem worse because we breathe out CO2. Also, the trees that convert our CO2 to oxygen are being demolished because we're using the land that we cut the trees down from as property for our homes and buildings. We are not replacing the trees (an important part of our eco system), so we are constantly taking advantage of our natural resources and giving nothing back in return.

EFFECTS

Plains
The plains will have a lot more fires than expected because of global warming. Global Warming will add extra heat to that region, in addition to the heat they already have there.

Coastal
The coastal regions will flood because of all the extra rain.
This will cause many inhabitants to leave their homes and flee.

Polar
A large portion of the Polar Ice Cap might melt making sea level
rise 16-20 feet. A rise of 20 feet in the sea level could cover most
of the state of Florida.

Forests
Some forests will dry up and becomedeserts by the middle of this new century. Also because of the increase in thunderstorms there could be more forest fires because of the lightning and the dry wood from the trees.

Mountains
The snow covered mountain peaks will probably melt causing floods and very dangerous mudslides.

Deserts
Most deserts will become much hotter than they usually are making it much harder to cross than it is today.

Fringe
A fringe land, which is the fertile area in between a desert, such as an oasis, will probably dry up.

RECREATION

As Global Warming hits, we may not be able to do some of the activities we used to. Of the big outdoor activities, swimming and fishing, they will be limited with water. If you have a favorite water-hole to fish and swim in, it could dry up. Some other problems are safety and health. We will have to wear sunscreen more often than we used to. Also, we will need to drink more water when we do physical activities outside. From gardening, to bike-riding or jogging, you should take a water bottle with you.If you are unprepared to go outside, you could get a sunburn or become dehydrated. Some people will probably stay indoors more often and some may love the extra heat and the sun shining more often. They may go outside more. If you are outside a lot you could risk getting skin cancer. This risk will most likely increase with the warming.

Malaria
Malaria is a disease that will increase during global warming. It is one of the earliest recorded human diseases, and is spread by the bite of a female mosquito. Mosquitoes breed in warm, wet places. With the increase of rain and warmth during global warming, the population of mosquitoes will increase, making the risk of getting this disease also increase. Malaria means "bad air" in Italian referring to the time when people thought that it was caused by gases around areas where mosquitoes thrive.When you are bitten by a infected mosquito, it sends parasites into your bloodstream. These parasites keep reproducing, making the disease more devastating. Symptoms are fever and chills that come and go, headache, weakness, and an enlarged spleen. An enlarged spleen could rupture, or require surgery to remove. People can live without a spleen, but not having one increases the risk of infections or other problems.

Hanta Virus
The Hanta Virus is a deadly respiratory disease carried by wild rodents. With Global Warming, the population of rodents will soar because there will be long periods of drought followed by warm, early spring, and rodents thrive in these climate conditions.If you come in contact with a rodent or if you breathe air that contains their waste you could get the virus. Dogs and cats are not known to carry the Hanta Virus. People most likely to get it are people who work in fields, or install and fix things in basements or attics where rodents can nest.Some symptoms may be flu-like symptoms with fever and chills, you may have a dry cough, nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea. You could experience fatigue and have a hard time breathing because your lungs could fill with fluid.

Skin Cancer
Skin cancer is one of the main cancer concerns of the world when Global Warming hits. The skin cancer people get most is melanoma. Though melanoma is the most common, it is also the most curable and and can even be prevented. Early discovery is very important. If you have moles that are bothering you or are doing weird things such as changing size, shape, color, or if they bleed constantly, you should consult a doctor.To prevent skin cancer you should wear sunscreen and stay in the shade. You should also wear light color clothing and a hat so your head and body can stay safe. You should steer clear of tanning salons, their tanning beds have the same ultraviolet rays as the sun. Remember, stay safe so you can fun in the sun.

And now its founder Jimbo Wales plans to launch a search engine that will not be proprietary like Google's or Yahoo's, but will be open-source.Its most striking feature is that it will be available in various languages including many Indian ones.
